Selarise, also known as David was a Co-Owner for PLV3. He was promoted to Co-Owner on April 19th, 2024 and is not seen that much within the community as he primarily works behind the scenes. He is currently 29 years old, and lives in Colorado. He’s been on Roblox for 13 years.
Background
Selarise joined Roblox in July of 2010. He enjoys playing games such as simulators and obbies. He currently owns RCD (Roblox Community Developers) with 16,000 members. RCD is a Roblox developer hangout group where developers across Roblox can connect, and find partners and teams to collaborate with.
Outside of RCD, BlueStar, and PLV3. Selarise has held many positions on Roblox. Some of these include:
- Map Creator at World Game Show (WGS). WGS is the studio behind Obby King.
- Tester at BloxByte Games, the studio behind Ghost Simulator; resigned in 2023.
- Studio Builders at HiddenDevs, the largest Roblox community collaboration server, and Discord partner.
PLV3 Career
Selarise was hired by BigBlueChips on August 1st, 2023, and became the fourth member of the Internal Affairs department. Within Internal Affairs, Selarise has helped Blue create guides and review applications. After Blue’s resignation in September of 2023, Selarise was the only remaining Community Manager serving temporarily with lsinixsterl, who’s known as Xavier before he also resigned a couple of days later.
In January of 2024, Selarise attempted to get BigBlueChips to return to Prison Life V3. The attempt was successful and Blue and Selarise have been serving as Managers of PLV3 ever since. On April 19th, 2024, Iowcarpet had plans to promote both BigBlueChips and Selarise to Co-Owner. BigBlueChips rejected the offer citing too many individuals will hold that position, but Selarise accepted the position becoming the replacement of oblivio_s.
David has also heavily contributed to development for PLV3, and the future game, Robloxia Prison. He's significantly contributed to data-loss issues in Robloxia Prison during updates. In addition, he's implemented features to the game, such as map changes and decorations, and minor scripting.
On November 15th, Selarise was terminated from his position as Co-Owner by Iowcarpet after an investigation conducted internally by the Internal Affairs department. He has since left the community, but keeps in contact with some staff members within the community.
Affiliation with BigBlueChips
Selarise has known BigBlueChips since December 2019 and have been very close business partners. Selarise worked under BigBlueChips at one of Blue’s groups as the Chief of Development. After the group was shut down in April 2020 and sold. BigBlueChips joined Selarise at his other group called The Wave which was rebranded to BlueStar Games in 2022. Blue remained with BlueStar until his resignation in February of 2024. Blue and Selarise still communicate closely with one another and Selarise is still an active member of the Internal Affairs team at PLV3 working under BigBlueChips.
